1960 BSA B33 500cc

Priced at £3,000. This is one of 2 BSA B33's that belonged to the late great Captain Maurice Seddon, who was an inventor and a self professed eccentric. Captain Seddon became a public figure as a result of his heated clothing which involved him not heating the house he lived in, but instead wearing clothing that plugged into the mains power via a transformer. he would go from room to room plugging himself into a different power lead as he went. Some may know him for his appearances on various 80's - 90's TV shows such as the David Letterman show or the Jonathan Ross show. There is an interesting ducumentary short film online called "The Captain And The Enemy" for anyone who is intersted in the story. This B33 has been in Andy's storage since 2013. This bike is a 500cc engine but it has B31 350 cases. As seen in the photos a set of B33 500 cases is included with the sale as is the current V5C registration document.
