1926 BSA B26 'Round Tank' 250cc
Priced at £6,350. Registered new in Northamptonshire on the 29th of May 1926, this is a fine mellow example of BSA's 'Round Tank'. The model achieved fame after being supplied in large numbers to the Post Office for use by Telegram delivery boys. This particular motorcycle has been in Andy's own collection since 1988, he has now decided to part with it. The magneto was found to be weak & has now been sent off to our favourite East Anglian Magneto repairer & will be refitted upon return. The machine benefits from having an old green logbook with the bike. We have now managed to recover the original Northamptonshire registration number RP 2834 for the bike & so it now has a new DVLA V5C registration document (showing registration number RP 2834). The BSA also is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & has the advantage of being MOT exempt.
