1936 Red Panther 250cc
Priced at £3,850. Registered new on the 23rd of March 1936 in London, this is one of the famous Pride & Clarke Red Panthers which were the cheapest 250cc motorcycle available at £29 17s 6d. Although very prolific in their day they are now increasingly more difficult to find. We have had the machine up & running in our workshop, the engine started very readily, sounded nice & had no obvious oil leaks. It has completed our standard yard test (see video below). The new owner will now need to attend to the electrics (as it only has the ignition circuit connected) before careful reintroduction to the road. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & benefits from being MOT exempt.
