1936 Triumph 2/1 250cc
Priced at £4,650. This is one of several classic motorcycles that have come to us from Essex, the last owner is raising funds to purchase a Harley Davidson. The Triumph 2/1 is quite an unusual model as there are not large numbers in existence. Beautifully designed by Val Page, they were said to have made Triumph a loss of £5 per bike sold, due to the high cost & quality of manufacture. We have looked the machine over & were impressed that it started readily & sounded nice, charging system comes up (the ammeter is is reversed) & completed our yard test with ease. This Triumph is now ready for the new owner to reintroduce it to the road after a little fine fettling. Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
