1950 Vincent Series C Rapide 1000cc
Priced at £35,000. This extremely ridable Vincent has come to us from a very clever engineer who has made many modifications to the bike to suit himself & to facilitate use in modern traffic conditions. The machine has 12 volt electrics, electric start, indicators, Mk.II Hi-lift cams, Amal Concentric Mk.2 carburettors, twin leading shoe front brakes (his own design) & more! He purchased the Vincent in 1974 & has ridden it many miles over the years, apparently making lots of use of the motorcycles power & speed!!! He also made a special workbench to hold the Vincent, to work on it, whenever needed (which is included with the bike, see photographs below). He has finally decided that as he is now in his ninties his motorcycling days are behind him. Has an old buff logbook, as well as other assorted paperwork, including handbook, repair book, spares list etc. Comes with a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & has the advantage of being MOT exempt.
