The great project was originally registered in Aberdeen where it was sold by a local motorcycle dealer, it seems that it may have spent its entire life in that area as that is where the machine has come to us from. The last owner told us that he & a friend purchased the bike in 1972/3 with the intention of restoring it, which never happened. The BSA has been in a shed ever since! We have looked over the motorcycle; the engine turns over & has good compression, the control cables all work & the gears seem to select as far as we can tell, there is no chain on the bike. This offers one fortunate customer the opportunity to purchase a nice project.
