1934 BSA B2 250cc
Priced at £4,850. This handsome lightweight from the BSA stable has come to us from its last Manchester owner. This is what he has told us about the little BSA.
It's a bike that I love the looks of but now with a recovering sore knee I'm coming around to thinking it's not really the machine for me (coupled with negotiating the modern day traffic).
The bike does start OK and the gears select, after a little adjustment from the previous owner.
I have not ridden the machine any distance but the previous owner said it was a good runner (although he also commented that he'd had little use of it).
The bike came with a fairly comprehensive strip down report on the engine and gearbox and at the time anything that needed attending to was done.
Lights etc work but I have not seen the charging registering on the ammeter. I have had the regulator checked by Al Osborne and the Dynamo checked at Ribblesdale electrics - both items being given a clean bill of health.
Tyres are new and generally I'd class the bike as nice and tidy certainly a lot better than oily rag.
Paperwork that comes with the machine is shown below. Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt
