1960 Royal Enfield Constellation 700cc

Priced at £5,000. Registered new with the Dorset County Council on the 2nd of May 1960 by the Homestead Garage, Parkstone, Dorset, this bike then moved to London in 1961. This beautifully original, nicely patinated bike has had two owners from new. the last owner has informed that he was delivering a TV set (for a TV shop he worked for) one day in the mid 1970's & spotted the bike leaning against the house in Ingatestone, Essex. The guy explained that he had purchased it new, the magneto had failed & he leant it against his house & left it for many years & that the mileage was genuine! The last owner bought a replacement magneto, along with other parts from Gander & Gray & got it up & running but never used it, putting in storage ever since. Has good history in the form of the original buff cardboard logbook. Comes with a DVLA V5C registration document, will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & has the bonus of being MOT exempt.
