Vee Twin Special
Priced at £5,500. Registered as a 1956 BSA, this motorcycle is a unique special, with the mechanics being from multiple origins. The crankcases are Royal Enfield, the vendor informed us that the crankshaft is Brough Superior (machined to suit), AMC heads & barrels, BSA transmission, Norton front wheel, Japanese front forks, BSA toolbox, Harley Davidson oil tank & rear mudguard, plus more! The vendor also informed us that the machines builder had previously worked for the BSA experimental department. The near side crankcase is stamped 72 x 95, which equates to a nominal 774cc. The bike started instantly, once we had worked out the unorthodox switching arrangements, sounded good with a nice exhaust note. It completed our standard yard test with ease, see video below. As this is such a unique motorcycle it is being offered for sale as a project & any potential buyer must view the bike prior to purchase. Has a DVLA V5 registration document.
