BSA D5 Bantam 175cc
Priced at £1,000. Looking for a great value project! Look no further. This marvellous project has come to us from long term storage. The little BSA is the rare D5 model, the first of the 175cc bikes made for the 1958 season only. The engine turns over & feels good, a weak spark has prevented us from starting the bike. The engine benefits from having a George Todd cylinder head fitted, these have a central spark plug hole & were available in various compression ratios all the way up to 13:1 apparently; very popular in their day for trials & racing! Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehcile' class & has the added perk of being MOT exempt
