1926 Triumph Ricardo 500cc

Priced at £12,500. This rare & very sporting motorcycle, first registered on the 11th of October 1926, came to us from a hugh surrey collection, the owner deciding he had to cut down! The machine had been in his hands since 1989. The engine for this model was developed by Harry Ricardo for Triumphs & demonstrated a power output of some 20+bhp & a speed of 70mph, both of which were very high for the time. This example is being offered as a project (engine turns overs & gears select), making for very singular vintage class motorcycle. Comes with a V5 registration document, will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & is MOT exempt.
