Priced at £25,000. Registered new on the 30th of December 1924 in Hertfordshire, this machine was build be F H Wells who had a garage & machine shop in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. He manufactured two complete machines, unfortunately one was involved in a fatal accident, after which he decided to stop manufacture. This bike is the survivor, a true one of a kind. Owned by a well known VMCC member in our part of Suffolk & used here & in Europe, it became a regular sight on the road. It acquired the local nickname of the ' Freeman, Hardy & Willis'! When the gentleman became to old to use it, it went through our hands, to a new home. We are offering this unique machine on behalf of the present owner. The bike comes with a folder of information (letters, photographs & much more) regarding the history of both the bike & F H Wells premises in Hitchin. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & is MOT exempt.
