1947 Scott Flying Squirrel 600cc

Priced at £8,750. We are pleased to be able to offer this fine late Scott on behalf of the owner. Here is the information he has given us regarding the bike: -
The bike is a 1947 Scott, one of the last to come out of the Shipley works fitted with magneto ignition before they went over to coil ignition in 1948 - 49. It has the Dowty forks on the front which give a very smooth ride - and yes they do stay up ! It has also been fitted with a 'Clamil' sprung rear hub which works well and means you have good suspension front and back giving an excellent ride. It has been restored by a previous owner to a very high standard and is very clean and tidy. It starts well and runs well, - very crisp and sharp on the throttle with a good turn of acceleration. A very useable bike all round.
Comes with a current V5C registration document & is currently on SORN
