1932 Coventry Eagle Marvel H16 98cc
Priced at SOLD. Originally registered in East Riding of Yorkshire in late 1931 under the registration mark WF 4363, this is a 1932 model. This model was introduced by Coventry Eagle as a 'Snowden', after Lord Snowden who was chancellor at the time & introduced a special road tax for motorcycles under a certain weight limit. This model is extremely rare today, hardly any of these special lightweight machines left today. This particular example is presented here as a wonderful project for one very lucky customer. Having served previous owners very well up until 1957 & been kept going with many running repairs to the cycle parts as you would expect on a machine of this type. It seems that failure of sparks may well have been the reason for being taken off the road. The engine kicks over, has compression, gears select, clutch frees, although no attempt to start it for reason above. Comes with a selection of original tax discs, but no other paperwork. We are currently awaiting a dating letter.
NOTE: - Due to this being such a unique motorcycle we do not expect it to hang around long. So if you are interested, don't hesitate!
