Priced at SOLD. First registered on the 12th March 1928, this machine has loads of history. The first owner bought this Sunbeam as a present for himself, & used it regularly, right through WW2. She was laid up in the early 1960's were she remained until purchased by the last owner in 2011. The bike was then sympathetically refurbished to the standard it is now. Work carried out: fuel tank rebuilt (at a cost of £500.00), rebore & new piston, rebuilt magneto, rebuilt wheels with stainless steel spokes, new stainless steel exhaust system, new tyres & tubes, fork spindles replaced as required & new chains. Included in the sale with the machine are the original mag/dyno, battery holder, electric horn, Lucas headlamp & brackets, regulator box, supplier's brass badge (R.Bevan of Castle Street, Cardiff) & various original literature, plus a selection of past insurance certificates.
Comes with old buff cardbook logbook, latest DVLA V5C registration document & still bears its original registration mark which is transferable if you must. Has an MOT until 28/05/2013 & road tax until 31/05/2013.
