1949 Matchless G3L 350cc

SOLD A nice bit of history accompanies this bike. There is the old cardboard log book showing that the original engine is still in the machine, and it was first registered on the 8th August 1949 in Eastbourne. There is also a black and white photograph showing a happy couple on the bike in the good old days, and another later color photograph showing a lady (possibly the same one from the previous photo) on the bike in an un restored state. The bike was in the possession of one family for many years and you can see on the historical documents, the same surname going back to the 1950's. There are a few old Ministry Of Transport test certificates going back to the 1960's and a selection of tax discs going back to the 50's. Comes with the latest V5C registration document.
