1963 Velocette Venom 500cc

SOLD First registered in Hertfordshire on the 18th of July 1963, this smashing Velocette Venom was handled by us previously in 2022 when we sold it to its last owner. Having had a lot of enjoyment out of the machine over the last 4 years He has now traded it in for a Triumph Bonneville. The owner prior to that (2000 - 2022) spent a fortune on an engine rebuild, including having Phil Pearson balance the crankshaft assembly. The electrics have been uprated to 12 volts & a Criterion alternator conversion fitted. There is a whole wallet file full of invoices/receipts (see photograph below) & other paperwork including history in the form of the original buff cardboard log book. Comes with a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
