1965 BSA B40 Sports Star SS90 350cc

SOLD Striking example of one of BSA's tuned up sporty SS90 machines. This bike comes with a wad of receipts for parts and work done over the last decade and a half. The receipts include one from alpha bearings in 2011, which is for the supply and fitting of new big and small ends. There is also a consecutive run of old MOT certificates from 2012 - 1018. the bike has beed dated by the BSA Owners Club who confirm that a machine with this frame number was made in 1965 as a 350cc BSA B40 SS90 and dispatched to A Hartill and Son, Bilston, Staffordshire on the 8th July 1965. the document states that the bike still has its original engine.
