1959 Francis Barnett Plover 78 150cc

SOLD This is a bike we handled previously in 2024 when we sold it to its last owner. We are pleased to be able to offer it again as the he has decided to let it go. Originally registered by the Nottinghamshire County Council on the 1st of August 1959, this Villiers engined Francis Barnett had been in the hands of an Essex owner since at least 1998. Sadly age prompted him to sell all his motorcycles & give up riding. This particular example is painted in the optional colors of Burma red with Dover white panels as indicated by the R suffix in the frame number. Andy and Peter were pleased to find that the bike started up easily straight away and everything functioned as it should. Has the original old buff logbook, as well as a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
