SOLD Selling this machine on behalf of its current owner who is a well respected engineer in the motorcycle world. The bike has been started up here on our site and sounds fantastic. There are 3 folders worth of Norton literature and notes that comes with the bike and we are told the following by the owner. " Engine originally supplied to Auguste Goffin in 1950. He was a Belgian rider that imported Nortons into Belgium. The frame is a 1948 international frame number C11 13591. The engine has been refreshed with new little end, piston rings etc. Magneto has been re wound and had new bearings, new primary chain and drive chain. Petrol tank was made by the late Clive Ling. Engine oil is a mineral oil and there is some spare in a can with the bike." We are told that the wheel hubs are magnesium and the bike is very light. We are prepared to attempt to register the machine with the DVLA Swansea.
