1942 BSA WM20 500cc

SOLD This is a good matching numbers machine which comes to us from its previous owner of 8 years. It was used frequently during his ownership and some work was carried out also. There is a note that came with the bike stating that the following work was done, Cylinder re-bored, new piston +60, rings, small end bush, gudgeon pin, new exhaust valves, valve springs, collets, head gasket and head bolts. Also there is a receipt for repairs to the wd chronometric from 2018. A BSA historian has said that this bike was built under contract S1048-34, and for this they used tank numbers from C5115218 to C5130217 which suggests the tank number is the correct one for the bike. The bike still retains its original engine also. Comes with the V5C registration document.
