1970 BSA StarFire 250cc

SOLD This bike comes to us from its previous Essex based owner who has reluctantly had to sell it because of a bad knee. He informs us that he has spent a lot of money on the bike and the work done includes full engine rebuild, new style conrod, new bearings & gaskets, new barrel, liner & piston. Also Rear shocks and a Boyer electronic ignition. Within the paperwork that comes with the bike there are receipts for the conrod and some of the other parts. Comes with a V5C registration document.

Ammendment 07/11/25:- Having sold this machine to a customer in Cambridgeshire, He was using the machine which needed running in when he was in a situation that required overtaking a bus at around 50 odd miles per hour. A bit of load was put on the engine and the top end started to rattle. We took the bike in and did a brief investigation and we take it to be a possible piston problem. Due to staff limitations we are unable to investigate further so instead we have decided to slash the price for the next customer who would like a challenge. The speedometer has 27 more miles on it that pictured below which reflects the amount the customer rode it.
