1959 AJS Model 31 650cc

SOLD This bike comes to us from its previous Dorset based owner who had bought 2 bikes at the same time quite recently, but could only hold on to one. He decided to let this one go due to a medical complaint meaning he couldn't lift it onto its center stand. There is a selection of documents that come with the bike attesting to some of its history. An AJS owners Club certificate showing that this bike was completed on 15th January 1959 and dispatched to 'Edwards' the dealers (location not recorded) The bike has its original engine and in 2020 a previous owner had the bike registered with its original number. There are some old MOT's and receipts for work done included too. Comes with V5C.

On a road test the machine proved to go well but would have the occasional clatter which starts when it gets hot. Owing to limited workshop time we have not investigated but we have drastically reduced the price to allow the new owner to do so.
