1949 Vincent Series B Rapide 1000cc

SOLD. This bike comes to us from its previous Hampshire based owner who held on to the machine for the last 15 years and took very good care of it. Prior to that it had been with another Hampshire based owner who had the bike since 2007. An interesting transferable mark of the beast registration number comes on this bike which was issued in Nottinghamshire on the 23rd March 1949. The bike comes with a selection of old MOT certificates and a few receipts and some spare decals. Current V5C is present.

The Vincent Owners Club have had a look at the bikes photos and are happy that the numbers are genuine and consistent with a 1949 series B Rapide, which when new was shipped to a dealer called Blacknell in Nottingham, who sold it at the end of March 1949 with its current registration number.
