1963 Matchless G12 650cc

SOLD. Originally sent from the factory to dealers Boltons of Ipswich & being registered in Ipswich on the 27th of August 1963 by the Ipswich Borough Police. The original buff cardboard logbook shows that the first civilian owner of this Matchless registered it with the East Suffolk Council on the 8th January 1968. The radio box on the rear carrier is fitted with a radio cassette player inside which can play old Police radio tranmissions (fun at shows). We are very pleased to have been asked to offer this motorcycle, in Police trim, by the current Essex owner who purchased it in 2012. Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & has the advantage of being MOT exempt.
