1939 Velocette MAC 350cc

Priced at SOLD. Velocette Factory records held by the Velocette Owners Club (last image below) show that on the 27/9/1939 this MAC was sent to dealers, Pikes in Exeter, then onto another agent in Taunton, to be sold to the customer, A. C. Thomson (in Taunton). The last Somerset owner had the machine in his possession for at least the last eight years. During this time he informed us that he had done extensive work on the bike & had the engine running. The new owner will need to carry out some fettling before carefully re-introducing the Velocette back on to the road. We are currently working to recover the original registration number of FYA 384 with copies of vehicle registration records held by the Somerset Archives. The machine will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & will be MOT exempt.
