1951 Trojan Mini-Motor 50cc on Raleigh gentlemans bicycle
SOLD This clip on auxilary bicycle engine hails from the post war period when cyclemotors enjoyed hugh popularity for a few years, with this example being one of the better known engine attachments. It is mounted above the rear wheel & drives through a roller brought into contact with the rear tyre, controlled by a lever from the handlebars. This one has a good patina & been in use by the last Essex owner, a well respected military vehicle restorer. Unfortunately a house move has compelled him to sell many of his machines. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
