1948 HRD Series B Rapide 1000cc

Priced at SOLD. Manufactured in 1947 & dispatched by rail from the factory on the 6th of January 1948 to Alexander, a motorcycle dealer in Edinburgh. We are very pleased to offer this superb example of a legendary Vincent on behalf of a good friend of ours, a long time Vincent man, who is only selling as he cannot ride all his Vincents! He has looked after this Rapide very nicely, riding it quite regularly. There are details of the bike below that he has supplied. The machine comes with copies of the Works Order Form & the Engine Specification Sheet (see below). There is also a Vincent HRD Owners Club Machine Dating Certificate with the bike. Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & does not need an MOT for road use.
