1936 Royal Enfield KX 1140cc

Priced at SOLD. First registered new in Cardiff on the 15th of October 1936, this is a motorcycle that we have handled on a previous occasion when we sold it to a regular Hertfordshire customer at the beginning of 2023. He has asked us to offer the Royal Enfield on his behalf as, sadly, he has injured his leg, making this bike completely impractical for him. He has informed us that the engine was stripped, new rings fitted, the crankshaft balance by T & L, Bedforshire, the magneto rebuilt by John Donahue, Ireland, the engine reassembled & a new carburettor (Concentric) fitted. The old carburettor does come with the machine. He did cover several hundred miles on the KX & the bike if tall geared, cruising at 55 to 60 mph. Has an old buff cardboard logbook. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration doocument, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
