1960 Zundapp Bella R204 200cc

Priced at SOLD. Originally registered in London on 13th of April 1960, this scooter was in the hands of the last owner, sadly now deceased, since 1973. He used the Zundapp for a number of years before putting it away. We rescued the machine only a few miles from our shop, it had been in storage for the best part of forty years. The scooter is being offered as a very sound project at a nice affordable price. This Zundapp, which has matching frame & engine numbers, is the final model of Bella scooter, the R204, which featured the 200cc 12bhp electric start engine reputed to be good for over 70mph top speed! History is in the form of an old green cardboard logbook. We are currently applying for a DVLA V5C registration document, the bike will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & benefits from being MOT exempt.
