1963 AJS Model 31 CSR 650cc

Priced at SOLD. Registered new on the 1st of March 1963, this very striking AJS has been with its last Aberdeen owner since 1993, & has clocked up plenty of miles in his hands. He has fitted a modern oil filter for reliability & convenience. He sold us two AJS motorcycles as, sadly, he now finds that at 83 years old he is not quite the rider he once was! This bike is equipped with the very rare factory race kit, this being twin carburetters, a tachometer drive & a rev. counter instrument. The bike is also fitted with a factory headlight cowling & fly screen. We have only ever seen these extras in factory & press photographs! Comes with a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Histoic Vehicle' class for free road tax & benefits from being MOT exempt.
