1940 BSA WD M20 500cc
Priced at SOLD. 'Beret' our late mechanic built this bike to his usual excellent standard, patience & skill, with many of parts needed being sourced from new genuine old stock, until he was satisfied with the result. When he rode it around parts of Europe (visiting the 'Dambusters' dams) he even took three grease guns with him so he could keep the brand new girder forks nicely greased up while they were ran in!!! He also rode it to the Normandy beaches on one of his trips, see last photograph below. This is a bike we handled earlier this year, selling to a local collector, who rode it home some 14 miles, but he is now retiring from riding. If you are looking for a WM20 you would find it difficult to buy a better one. Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & has the added advantage of being MOT exempt.
Note: - The current odometer reading is 08327 miles.
