1955 Norman Cyclemate 32cc
Priced at SOLD. This Norman Cyclemate was originally registered in Nottinghamshire during August or September 1955. The last Derbyshire owner had purchased this bike in 1994, now sadly deceased, the machine was sold to us by his daughter. The Norman Cyclemate, a progression from the Cyclemaster auxillary bicycle engine, was an early British moped of only 32cc, making it the smallest capacity moped built in the UK. Cyclemates were in production from 1954 for six years. On our yard test the engine ran OK, lights came up & speedometer functioned. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & benefits from being MOT exempt.
