1960 Norton ES2 500cc

Priced at SOLD. This bike has an unusual history. Believed to have been dispatched from the factory to Burnette & Sons, Southsea, where it seems it stayed unsold for ten years before finally being sold to its first registered owner in the Portsmouth area on the 24th of July 1970 according to the old green logbook. Aswell as matching frame & engine numbers the machine appears untouched with original paintwork & with undamaged fasteners. For the last 30 years the Norton has resided in a local collection, now being sold to free up some space. Has a DVLA V5C registration document, will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & has the added advantage of being MOT exempt.
