This machine is 1 of 2,000 produced in late 1940 in fulfilment of one of Ariels wartime government contracts to supply motorcycles, the bikes in this particular contract were all dispatched to Chilwell Depot for onward distribution to the relevant units. Finished in full military trim, this is a smart attractive machine. In the last West Midland owners hands since 2018, only being sold to raise some funds. Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered as a 'Historic Vehicle' for free road tax & has the perk of being MOT exempt.
