1955 Triumph 5T Speed Twin 500cc

Registered new on the 10th of October 1955 in Surrey, we are pleased to be able to offer this dazzling Triumph on behalf of a long time local friend of ours, a lifetime Triumph enthusiast who is well known for his very beautiful collection! As he has quite a few machines & space is at a premium, he has decided it is time to move one or two bikes on. He purchased this bike from us in 2010 & we are very pleased to handle such a stunning machine once more! A previous owner spent a lot of money on the engine & gearbox (see receipts/invoices below). There are also a number of past MOT certificates (see below) attesting to the time it spent on the road, as well as past computerised registration documents. This charming Triumph has also had the benefit of having just come back from having the carburettor adjusted & a tune up, carried out by a very experienced Triumph mechanic. Has a current DVLA Registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & has the perk of being MOT exempt.
