1925 BSA B25 'Round Tank' 250cc
Priced at SOLD. Registered new on the 6th of April 1925 in Buckinghamshire, this extremely authentic BSA had been in the hands of the last owner for sixty years. During his tenure he had been gradually gathering new parts & carrying out research, see letter from BSA below. Getting the machine refurbished little by little until unfortunately his passing curtailed his long term rebuild. This authentic motorcycle is from the second year of 'Round Tank' production, has history in the form of an old buff cardboard logbook going back to 1930, a letter from the factory (dated 1966) & is a really honest project, one of the nicest examples we have had! The engine turns over & feels good, all the tinware is exceptionally nice which is rare. These were the legendary Post Office Telegram Boys motorcycles. We are currently waiting for the latest DVLA V5C registration document to arrive. The bike qualifies for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & benefits from being MOT exempt.
