1960 Ariel Leader 250cc

Priced at SOLD. First registered in Nottinghamshire on the 25th of March 1960 according to the original buff cardboard logbook (see below). The bike actually came to us from a Nottinghamshire gentleman who informed us that it had been his fathers motorcycle, who was the third owner in the old logbook. The son had kept the Ariel in his garage for the last few decades! The bike has matching numbers, the gears select & the clutch functions, there are also optional extras - a pair of panniers fitted to the machine & a rear rack. This represents a super project at a great price.The bike has a brand new DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
