1954 Royal Enfield Model J2 500cc

SOLD Registered for the first time on the 29th of May 1956 in Middlesex to dealers Whitby's of Acton, this bike was bought by a Suffolk collector in 1985 & put in his private collection where it has resided ever since. This particular model is a tele/rigid & was the last rigid model that Royal Enfield made. Peter, our mechanic, has had this machine in the workshop for a checkover & following a road test, reported that the bike ran fine & made for a pleasant ride around our local roads. Has the original buff logbook giving history up to 1981 (date of last stamp). Has a DVLA V5C registration document, qualifies for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & has the added perk of being MOT exempt.
