Priced at SOLD. This machine has come to us from an East Ipswich shed, with the vendor telling us that he swopped it for a very tatty Goldwing! 827 NTE was issued during April 1960 by licensing authorities in Lancashire. John Tinley, the AJS & Matchless Owners Club Dating officer, has informed us that the frame number 8204 is a 1960 AJS Model 14 250cc dispatched to Kings on 5th April 1960. This motorcycle will make a great restoration project since there is lots of backup from a large club with a great spares scheme. There are also lots of other people dealing in parts for these bikes as well. The engine turns overs, the gears select & has the feel of a machine that would run without to much bother. The registration is not currently on th DVLA system as the machine has been off the road for a very long period. We can give the new purchaser some assistance, including provide a dating letter for registering with the DVLA.
