1967 BSA B40 350/441cc
Priced at SOLD. Accquired in early 2022 by the last Essex owner this is an ex military motorcycle. A BSA Owner's Club Vehicle Report tells us that from the factory dispatch records, this bike was to be delivered the Feltham Depot on 4th July 1967, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, London, SW1. We are informed by the last owner that the engine was rebuilt by Rupert Ratio some time ago & has not covered many miles since. This BSA has a B44 engine fitted, as confirmed by a gentleman who is very experienced with late BSA unit singles, having measured the stroke & noted the B44 round alloy barrel. Also on road test the machine went very well, attesting to the larger engine. This fine ex MOD BSA, together with another BSA, was part exchanged with us aganist a cammy Norton. Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & benefits from being MOT exempt.
Another one that Andy has undervalued!!!
