1946 Excelsior Model O Universal 122cc
Priced at SOLD. Registered new on the 13th of September 1946, this is from the first year of post war Excelsior production. Powered by a Villiers 9D engine & featuring the unusual gear change with the lever coming up through the tank, which was discontinued for 1949 when the 10D engine with foot change was fitted to this model. The 1946 model is perhaps the rarest of the post war Excelsior models. Being sold as a project for one lucky customer, the machine rolls & the engine turns over. The Excelsior is registered with the DVLA under the registration mark KGH 327A & we are currently awaiting the latest V5C document to arrive. The Machine with be registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & will be MOT exempt.
