1953 BSA C11 250cc
Price now reduced to SOLD from SOLD. First registered on the 13th of November 1953 in Aberdeen & it seems that it stayed in that area before coming down to us. This BSA hand been in the hands of the last Aberdeen owner for a number of decades & was a long term restoration project for him. Unfortunately he sadly passed away before finishing the little BSA. The bike was taken on & completed by another gentleman before coming to us. There is good history in the form of the original buff logbook, various invoices/receipts & past MOT certificates. Having taken the bike for a good road test which it completed OK, although it is noted that he engine has the slightest bottom end noise detecable, possibly the early onset of big end play, hence the price reduction. We are in the process of applying to recover the original registration mark & obtain a new DVLA V5C registration document. The bike will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & will benefit from being MOT exempt.
