1928 AJS Model K 799cc
Priced at SOLD. Originally registered in London on the 14th of January 1928, this very authentic machine has been barn stored as part of a large collection in Surrey, the owner having purchased the bike in 2005. He has now decided that his collection has just grown too large & is trimming down. The AJS still has the matching frame, engine & gearbox numbers it left the factory with; & also still retains its correct registration mark! We cleaned the carburettor & fitted another armature in the magneto, after which she started & ran sweetly, see video below. There is history in the form of an old buff cardboard logbook & a photocopy of two AJS factory receipts for parts (see below). Comes with a DVLA V5C registration document, will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & has the advantage of being MOT exempt.
