Price now reduced to SOLD from SOLD. Registered new in Birmingham on the 13th of March 1961, this fine little James has come to us from its last Shropshire owner. He had purchased the bike in 1983 & used it for quite a number of years, although in more recent times it had remained in his shed after he retired from riding. The machine starts, runs well & has completed our yard test; it is noted that while the gearbox selects & operates in all three gears, second gear selection can be problematic. A new speedometer cable has been fitted & the speedometer functions. the machine will need a rewire by the new owner before careful reintroduction to the road once more. There is history in the form of an old green cardboard logbook. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & benefits from being MOT exempt.
