1934 New Imperial Model 30 250cc
Priced at SOLD. This innovative motorcycle has Comes to us from an East Anglian Museum collection, where it had been on display. The machine features a unit construction engine of a design pioneered by New Imperial, featuring a geared primary drive. We have now had the bike in our workshop. Through the plug hole we noted a new piston. The engine starts & runs well on coil & battery as the Maglita, in true fashion, does not produce a good spark! We have completed the paperwork to register this lightweight & are awaiting the latest DVLA V5C registration document to arrive. The DVLA have informed us that they have issued the registration mark OXS 445 to this vehicle. The bike will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & is MOT exempt.
