Priced at SOLD. Registered for the first time on the 10th of February 1921 when the Motor Vehicle Licensing Act made registration compulsory, this is wonderfully patinated example of an early vintage Douglas. Manufactured at the height of the First World War this Douglas may well have been part of a WD contract. This bike was purchased in 1995 by its last Surrey owner & has spent many years as part of his collection. Being a 1916 model this machine is eligible for the VMCC Banbury run & other vintage class events. Comes with a V5 registration document, will qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & is MOT exempt.
