1931 Triumph WO 250cc
Priced at SOLD. Originally registered in the Isle of Ely on the 9th of March 1931 & is a rare model with the factory said to have produced only 1,100 WO's (some sources claim even less). Produced to be sold at a price that was more affordable due to the depression, this was one of the machines that helped Triumph's motorcycle devision stay in business. The original buff cardboard logbook Comes with the Triumpn show that there were only four owners between 1931 & 1975, with the third owner having the bike in his name for 43 years! Our mechanic, Peter, has riden this Triumph on a 6 mile road test which was completed with ease, cruses happily at 40 - 45 mph. Peter commented on how beautifully the control levers all operated on the lovely 'clean handlebars' with all the cables routed internally! Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & benefits from free road tax.
