1919 Triumph Model H 550cc
Priced at SOLD. Originally registered in Worcester on the 25th of January 1921. The bike is presented here is very original condition & was in the hands of the last owner since at 1953 before coming to us. He used the the machine for the Banbury Run in 1958 (paperwork in the file). There is history in the form of an old buff cardboard logbook & a letter from Triumph Engineering Company Limited dated 25th June 1956 stating that the motorcycle is a 1919 model. After cleaning out the fuel system, cleaning the points & fitting a new throttle cable with a period lever, the Triumph fired up readily & ran nicely, a 12 mile road test was completed with ease, cruising at 40mph, see report below. We are currently is the process of obtaining the latest DVLA V5C registration document.
