Priced at £4,250. This fine example of an extremely rare model has a wonderful patina. Believed to have been made for one year only using the Villiers engines, we have never seen another one. This was a smaller machine then the rest of the range, being almost a Cotton in miniture. Any Cotton enthusiast would be thrilled to own this bike! Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & is MOT exempt.
Further information from Charles Cotton: This is the third lightweight duplex frame Cotton Villiers that I have
come across and is still in existence. A surviving identical machine
EDF 504 was built in September 1941 with frame number 18367 and engine
AAA/19166/A and I have found details of a different model Cotton made in
1943 with frame number 18417, so I would think your Cotton comes from
late 1943 or early 1944. These bikes were constructed post bankruptcy
by F. W. Cotton under the company name E.E. Cotton.
